Indigenous-led. Practitioner-grounded.
Indigenous Board Administrative & Governance Services is a Canadian-based initiative led by Indigenous governance professionals with extensive experience working inside Indigenous organizations, non-profits, and community-based governance structures.
Our work is rooted in years of direct practice in governance administration, policy development, and organizational operations — supporting leadership, boards, and administrative teams in navigating the complex realities of Indigenous governance in Canada. This includes developing governance frameworks, drafting and reviewing policy, strengthening administrative systems, and supporting organizational accountability and decision-making.
Led by an Indigenous professional holding the Governance Professionals of Canada (GPC) Designation, the work reflects both lived and professional expertise — grounded in recognized governance standards and adapted to the specific needs of Indigenous communities and organizations.
This initiative focuses on structured, practical knowledge through publications and courses. These resources are designed to move beyond theory, offering clear systems, templates, and frameworks that can be directly applied within Indigenous governance and administrative contexts.
The approach prioritizes clarity, usability, and respect for the diversity of governance practices across communities — supporting strong administrative foundations, effective policy development, and sustainable organizational structures.
